Between the two of us, you could say we've been around the block! After many years gaining experience both across the country and the globe we found ourselves drifting and scratching our heads in the summer of 1993, leading us to start our own Partnership based in Nether Edge, Sheffield.
This gave us the freedom to share and cumulate our experiences whilst at the same time adopting new technologies and keeping up to date with modern design trends, ideals and solutions.
Our diverse range of projects have spanned widely across the industry, including housing, barn conversions, refurbishments, student and residential apartments, commercial, industrial, educational, healthcare and working within conservation areas.
We have undertaken a significant range of domestic projects including large extensions and re-modelling projects as well as our inner designer's delight to indulge in the more bespoke and luxurious dwellings.
Beyond residential projects, we have worked with Sheffield Health and Social Care Trust for over 20 years, undertaking refurbishment and extension projects to their many properties. In addition we worked in partnership with Doncaster MBC on their SureStart programme. We were also lucky enough to fulfil contract management and full architectural support for the Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice, a contract worth over £4 million.
More recently we have enjoyed working with Gripple Ltd, IKO Insulation, Ernest Bennett Ltd and T W Ward Ltd. These projects and many more can be found in our Gallery.
We are not fresh out of university and seeing buildings solely as pieces of art, but we like to think we have a very modern approach to our work backed by many years of experience in our broad fields of architectural design and technology.
When not in the office, Roger can often be found walking and scrambling up remote valleys in the Peak District and beyond. Otherwise he can be found training for his black belt in Karate - a hefty feat for a man who is not entirely sure of his age anymore.
When not travelling through his bucket list Phillip will often be seen cycling through the leafy suburbs of South West Sheffield, the Peaks or the Lake District. Otherwise he can be found sat eating a bacon buttie at Forge Dam café.
